MacBook Pro 16 A2141 — display saved after liquid damage

Display repairs are slowly becoming our speciality 😎 Another success, this time a saved display for a MacBook Pro 16″ A2141 — not a cheap part 💸

The computer had been spilled on near the display connector — both the logic board and the display were damaged. The solution: replacing the TCON board, which meant finding and matching compatible control electronics for the display.

The machine is back to life, and some money was saved along the way, which of course makes everyone happy 😁
