Cracked MacBook Air M1 A2337 screen — replacing just the panel

A cracked screen on a MacBook Air M1 A2337. The crack started in the right-hand corner, and the image broke up into horizontal and vertical lines across almost the entire screen.

The case and the lid were fine, so I replaced just the panel — without replacing the whole display assembly. In the last photo the old panel lies next to the computer, which once again shows a flawless image.
