We know iMacs inside out — from older 21.5″ and 27″ models with spinning hard drives to the new 24″ iMacs with Apple chips. We diagnose and repair on site, in Kraków, including logic boards.

Most common problems

  • iMac is slow and takes ages to start. In older models the spinning hard drive is usually to blame. Upgrading to an SSD is one of the most worthwhile upgrades we do — we often combine it with a RAM upgrade and cooling system maintenance.
  • iMac won’t turn on. The cause can be the power supply or the logic board — we repair both.
  • Screen coming unstuck or a damaged screen. We re-glue the screen or replace it.
  • Noisy and overheating. Dust builds up inside an iMac for years — cooling system maintenance helps.

How the repair works

  1. Initial diagnosis in front of you — we explain straight away what may have happened.
  2. Expected cost range and timeframe. We only start the repair once you approve.
  3. Repair on site, in Kraków — if something comes up beyond the agreed scope, we call you first.
  4. Pick-up with a warranty — 3 months as standard. For damage covered by a policy we prepare a report for your insurer.

FAQ

Is it worth upgrading an old iMac to an SSD?

Often, yes — an older iMac with a spinning hard drive can feel like new after switching to an SSD. During the initial diagnosis we assess whether it makes sense in your case.
