iPad Air 6 after liquid damage — first the touch failed, then it stopped booting

Signs of liquid damage next to the touch connector on an iPad Air 6 logic board

This liquid-damaged iPad Air 6 💧 came to me with two faults that appeared one after the other: first a problem with the touchscreen, then the iPad stopped booting.

The first photo shows traces of liquid next to the touch connector. It didn’t end there, though — the light sensor and microphone connectors were damaged too. I repaired all three 🔧

In the last photo the iPad boots and charges again ✅
